During my years in education, I have witnessed and experienced anxiety and stress in many forms, both in young people and adults. We all feel stress in our lives but why is it that sometimes we seem to cope and other times we don’t? Why do some people seem to deal with stress better than others and how can we help young people’s resilience towards the pressures of education and the wider world?

There is no single answer as our lives, experiences, responses to the world and coping mechanisms are unique and our children are no different. However, below you will find lots useful advice and support to help begin to understand stress, anxiety, depression and how to support your child through those tough times.
